A scholarship scheme has been started by the state government from the academic session of the year 2023-24 on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) merit for admission to class-6 in Gnanshakti Residential Schools, Gnanshakti Tribal Residential Schools, Rakshashakti Schools and Model Schools and Chief Minister Gnanasetu Merit Scholarship Scheme. The Common Entrance Test (CET) under this scheme is scheduled by the State Examination Board for the academic year 2024-25.

Gnanshakti Residential Schools, Gnanshakti Tribal Residential Schools, Rakshashakti for students who have completed Class 1 to 5 in Government and Granted (Government, Panchayat, Municipal or Municipal Schools, Government or Granted Schools under Tribal Development Department, Tribal Education Society Schools) In schools and model schools, admission to class 6 on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) merit and under the Chief Minister Gnana Sethu Merit Scholarship Scheme, Chief Minister Gnana Setu Merit Scholarship will be given during the studies of class 6 to 12 on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) merit.

Students who have completed class I to V in self-reliant schools will be admitted to class VI on the basis of merit in Common Entrance Test (CET) only in Rakshashakti Schools (25% seats) and model schools.

1. Eligibility for Examination:-
- Students who have completed class 1 to 5 in government and aided schools (Gyanshakti Residential Schools, Gyanshakti Tribal Residential Schools, Model Schools and Rakshashakti Schools in Class-6 and Chief Minister Gnanasethu Merit Scholarship Scheme) will be able to take the Common Entrance Test. Based on the merit of this common entrance test, admission to class-6 in the above schools and Chief Minister Gnanasetu merit scholarship will be given.

- Students who have completed Class-5 of Independent/Private Schools can give this Common Entrance Test for admission to Class-6 of Rakshashakti Schools (within the limit of 25% seats) and Model Schools only. Admission to these schools (Rakshashakti and Model Schools) in Class-VI will be given based on the merit of this Common Entrance Test.

2. Examination Fee:-
- This Common Entrance Test will be free.

3. Structure of Test:-

- Common Entrance Test is of multiple choice form and multiple choice form Question- MCQ Based)
- The question paper of Common Entrance Test will be of 120 marks and the duration will be 150 minutes.
- Medium of Common Entrance Test will be in Gujarati/English language.

4. Examination Centre:

5. Common Entrance Test Result and Merit List

The verification of the documents of the children in the above list shall be done by the District Primary Education Officer in case of government schools and by the District Education Officer in case of aided schools as per the instruction of the Director, Schools.

6. School Selection:-
- Admission to these schools based on the merit of this Common Entrance Test and selection for the Chief Minister Gnanasethu Merit Scholarship will be decided by the Office of the Director, Schools.

7. Important Tips-

1. Only online form will be accepted for this entrance exam.

2. Children will be given admission and Chief Minister Gnanasetu Merit Scholarship only according to merit.

3. Keep checking the website http://www.sebexam.org to keep updated with exam related details.

4. The application forms of this entrance examination can be filled online from the online portal www.schoolattendancegujarat in Parathi and Manvi Shan ji http://www.sebexam.org for children of Government and Granted schools.

5. The details mentioned in the online application form are not verified by the State Examination Board. Hence the student himself will be responsible for personal information and other details.

6. The application form is filled online by the State Examination Board, Gandhinagar for this test and if the details of the information sought by the student have been concealed or given false information by the student, the decision to cancel the result of such student will be taken by the Chairman, State Examination Board. . The decision of the Chairman State Examination Board shall be final for all examination related matters.

7. Forms of this entrance examination will be filled in Model School School, BRC Bhavan and CRC Bhavan and from the student's own schools absolutely free of charge. Self-reliant school students can fill the admission form only for Rakshashakti Schools and Model Schools. Only a maximum of 25% students from self-reliant schools will be admitted in Rakshashakti Schools.

8. The student should take a printout of the form filled online on the website and keep it with him.

9. Hall ticket information will be informed by your school and also will be informed through SMS in your register mobile or you have to keep checking www.sebexam.org website.

10. The online form has to be filled from 29/01/2024 to 09/02/2024 on the website http://www.sebexam.org of the State Examination Board.

Mode of Online Application

Students of government schools and aided primary schools have to follow the following steps.

  1. 1st on https://schoolattendancegujarat.in/ portal 4.
  2. Login with school DICE code.
  3. Click on Common Entrance Test on the left side.
  4. Clicking on Common Entrance Test will generate a list of class-wise students
  5. Then tick against the name of the students to be registered,
  6. After ticking against the name of the student ticking the undertaking given below.
  7. Then check the details and click on submit and confirm.
  8. Then save and print the application.
Self-employed (students from private schools) Students have to follow the following steps

  1. First http://www.sebexam.org Sat 24.
  2. "Apply Online"  Click
