Vivo is preparing the announcement of a new mid-range smartphone with a large screen and an unusual design.
Anonymous sources told Hi-Tech Mail.ru that the Vivo V17 smartphone will be presented in late November. Information also appeared that this smartphone will be sold in Russia, but the price is still unknown.
Vivo V17 received an unusual design with a glass back cover with an iridescent pattern. In front, everything is traditional - a large screen with small frames and a teardrop-shaped cutout for the front camera. The fingerprint scanner is integrated directly into the display.
The smartphone has four cameras at once, the main one - at 48 megapixels. The characteristics of the remaining modules are still unknown.

The Vivo V17 processor is still unknown, but it will have a lot of memory - 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory. Also, the smartphone will receive a 4,500 mAh battery, a USB Type-C connector is used for charging.
Vivo V17 will occupy a middle position in the line between the flagship V17 Pro and the budget smartphone V17 Neo. We are waiting for the news.
On the front, we have a waterdrop notch display with thick chin and small bezels on the left and right sides. You can also see it has the power button and volume rocker placed on the right side, and a USB-C port at the bottom flanked by a speaker and microphone.

No fingerprint sensor can be spotted in the leaked renders, hence, it can be assumed that the Vivo V17 will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Vivo V17 is rumoured to come with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is said to pack a 4500mAh battery. It is likely to feature fast charging.

There is no information on the chipset it will be powered by. However, a prominent “Camera & Music” branding can be seen on the back. Therefore, Vivo V17 could be targeted at people who want good cameras alongside a capable media consumption device.
As far as specifications go, the phone's TENAA listings suggest it will pack a 6.38-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) AMOLED display and will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. The phone will come in two configurations with 6GB and 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. It will come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and will boot Android Pie. The TENAA listings of Vivo V1945A and V1945T show it in two shades of blue, but the specifications table also mentions a gold colour option.
As for the phone' quad rear camera setup, it will be highlighted by a 48-megapixel main camera that will rely on pixel binning to deliver brighter photos, just like the 32-megapixel front camera. The main rear snapper will be assisted by an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a pair of 2-megapixel snappers. The alleged Vivo V17 will come equipped with a 4,390mA battery, but there is no mention of its fast charging capabilities. Dimensions of the phone listed on TENAA are 159.25x75.19x8.68 mm, and it will tip the scales at 186.7 grams.
